A Strengths-based, Culturally Responsive Community Prevention Education
Presented by our community partner, Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Prevention Programs, this training is offered for communities and organizations to enhance substance misuse prevention practices. This session will cover the use of Narcan within the greater context of Harm Reduction. Learning objectives include understanding the main principles of Harm Reduction, how Harm Reduction helps destigmatize substance use disorder, and the role of using Narcan within Harm Reduction.
