You Are Not Alone
Together, We Can Save Lives
Suicide is preventable, and it starts with community awareness and action.
Arizona Complete Health partners with county health departments to create local Suicide Prevention Task Forces, bringing together people from all walks of life to learn, share, and take action.
Whether you’re a teacher, business owner, faith leader, first responder, student, parent, or simply a caring neighbor, your voice matters. The more we understand the warning signs and how to have conversations about suicide, the stronger our community becomes.

Join Your County’s Suicide Prevention Task Force
Our Suicide Prevention Task Force meets quarterly to review local trends, share resources, and coordinate prevention efforts.
Think of it as a neighborhood watch for mental health, a group of diverse community members working together to protect and strengthen the well-being of our neighbors. Members include healthcare providers, faith leaders, educators, parents, and concerned residents and together we:
- Review county-specific data and trends from the County Health Department
- Share the warning signs of suicide and how to respond
- Coordinate prevention activities across the community
- Reduce stigma and make resources more visible and accessible
- Share practical ways of safely storing medications and firearms
Current Task Forces: Cochise, Pima, Yuma Counties
More County Task Forces coming soon, including those in Northern Arizona!
Don’t see your county? You can still be part of the movement. If you’re interested in starting a Suicide Prevention Task Force in your community, we’d love to talk.
Your voice matters. When every part of the community comes to the table, we can save lives.
