The Centene Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Team is offering free Web-based training designed to enhance your documentation and coding practices in light of the upcoming 2023 ICD-10 coding guidelines. The training will assist you with documentation and coding accuracy for all Centene contracted lines of business - Medicare, Marketplace and Medicaid.

Upon completion of a training session, you will have the option of free chart reviews for 20 random Centene members. The CDI Team will review 2022 date of service medical records for documentation/coding deficiencies and share feedback with you. You will also have the option to repeat the process in six months.

Sessions will include:

Ø 2023 ICD-10-CM updates

Ø Telehealth Guidelines – Medicare vs Marketplace

Ø Learn how to avoid common documentation errors

Ø The Role of Providers in Risk Adjustment

Ø Overview of Risk Adjustment basics and why the process is so important

Who should attend: All Clinicians levels, Coders, etc.
