DUGless & SED Update and Information

DUGless Portal is Live and Accepting Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) Identification and Removal Submissions

The DUGless portal is live and accepting submission of SED identification and removal requests. While the submission procedures using the SED Identification & Removal Request form remain in effect as a temporary solution, the use of the DUGless portal is mandatory effective October 1, 2025. As a result, we strongly encourage you to immediately begin using it to allow time for a smooth transition ahead of the October 1 deadline.

To Submit an SED Identification Request via the DUGless Portal:

  • Search for the member under the Supplemental Data section of the portal
  •  Indicate if you’re submitting an SED identification (Yes) or removal (No) request
  • Enter the following member information:
    • AHCCCS ID
    • First and Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Effective Date of SED Identification
    • CALOCUS Level of Care Score 1 - 6 (use 99 for members under age 6 or FFS members if CALOCUS is not available)
    • SED Qualifying Diagnosis

Enrollment Requirement

The member must have active enrollment with an ACC, ACC-RBHA, TRBHA, or Fee-for-Service (FFS) plan to submit the request through DUGless. The system will not allow submissions for members with no active enrollment.
