Suicide Prevention Task Forces

Arizona Complete Health-Complete Care Plan’s (AzCH-CCP’s) Suicide Prevention Task Forces convene quarterly in Pima, Cochise, and Yuma counties to advance suicide prevention efforts and review relevant data. The Pima County Task Force has been active since 2021, and Cochise and Yuma Task Forces launched in 2022.   

These Task Forces collaborate closely with County Health Departments to monitor completed suicides and with the AzCH-CCP Crisis Team to analyze calls to the statewide Crisis Line related to suicidal ideation and self-harm.  Participants include representatives from community behavioral health agencies, law enforcement, school districts, veterans’ organizations, universities, and tribal partners. Together, they share insights, coordinate efforts, and promote events addressing suicide and other social determinants of health.

Upcoming Meeting Schedule:

• Pima County: October 28, 2025, and quarterly on the last Tuesday of the month | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Yuma County: October 29, 2025, and quarterly on the last Wednesday of the month | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Cochise County: August 12, 2025, and quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
