Member and Family Advocacy Council (MFAC)

Ways to be involved

Arizona Complete Health-Complete Care Plan (AzCH-CCP) offers many ways for members, family members and advocates to be involved, provide input and work towards change. Your voice is important to us. It helps in how we provide services to members.

Contact advocates@azcompletehealth.com for more information.

Please see descriptions of our councils and involvement opportunities below:

Focus- Agency and Provider concerns

  • All Behavioral Health Homes hold monthly Advisory/Advocacy Councils. Other agencies may hold them also. Members and families can provide feedback on the services that they are receiving at council meetings. Agencies use the feedback to improve services at the provider agency.

To get more information on Agency Member and Family Advisory/Advocacy Councils please send an email to advocates@azcompletehealth.com or call Melissa Brown at 520-373-1489.

Focus- Community Concerns

  • The Member and Family Advocacy Councils (MFACs) focus on “Community needs and concerns”. Each community we serve can have very different and unique needs. This is a great place to share about YOUR community. Meetings are hosted by AzCH-CCP. The focus is around learning about your community’s needs, possible service gaps as well as successes. The group will gather information from you to help create needed change.
  • In these councils you will work with others in your community. You will learn about resources and work to problem solve. You will learn about being an advocate for yourself and others.
